College college college. It can be so unproductive some days.
A very good example . TODAY !
Went all the way to college to attend CI and found out it's tutorial class. Just answer a question that the lecturer ask which i did , and you're off to go home.

It means that i went all the way to college today to answer a single question and off i go. Amazing right . haha. =)

Things to do when you got bored in the library.
Cut out a dick shaped model made from Styrofoam
and paste it on the Library wall.

The good Stress.

That's us doing some crazy ass photoshoot for fun. And yeap. It's really fun! hahaa.

Well , it have been a while since the last time i blog. There's many things going on and there's too little time! It's so dam stressful nowadays with all the Assignment in College and all the band practice going on. Feel like my head's gonna burst.

But. I'll call it the good stress because i'm actually enjoying what i'm going through right now . In college , Group assignment is always the best! You'll get to bond with your team members and there's always a drama going on in it! =)) The satisfaction after you complete a single assignment together with a good grade with it! Woooohhh.. It's making me Jizz in my pants.

One of my Constuction Assignment.

Okay. My bed is calling my name! Got to go now. Good night World!

Theo Jansen, Mister strandbeest i would like to call him.
He, the guy who brings things to life.
a person who create lives with no beating heartbeat.
a man with true passion.
a man with determination.
a man with strong believes.
and a man who hasn't forgotten or neglected Mother nature.
Mr. Jansen was born March 14, 1948, in The Hague in Netherlands.
He is a Dutch artist who builds large works which resemble skeletons of animals and are able to walk using the wind on the beaches of the Netherlands.
His animated works are a fusion of art and engineering.
He says, "The walls between art and engineering exist only in our minds." in a car companytelevision commercial.
He has been working for 16 years to create sculptures that move on their own in eerily lifelike ways.
Each generation of his "Strandbeests" is subject to the forces of evolution, with successful forms moving forward into new designs. Mr Jansen's vision and long-term commitment to his wooden menagerie is as fascinating to observe as the beasts themselves.

His newest creatures walk without assistance on the beaches of Holland, powered by wind, captured by gossamer wings that flap and pump air into old lemonade bottles that in turn power the creatures' many plastic spindly legs. The walking sculptures look alive as they move, each leg articulating in such a way that the body is steady and level. They even incorporate primitive logic gates that are used to reverse the machine's direction if it senses dangerous water or loose sand where it might get stuck.
He theorizes that one day the animali will be able to evolve just like the organic beings on earth: by challenging each other. The winner will absorb the loser’s “DNA” and continue to grow and learn new things. Theo Jansen says that the creatures will one day have muscles, as well as brains complicated enough to allow them to perform complex actions.

Night of nights,grr.

Call this random,

but my friends and I

decided to have a horror yet classy photoshoot .

Starring.. US!

Introducing,

ChongyanShingyiYumin

Elisha

and I :)

The main point of having this is because we had such wonderful photographers,

- Sunny(the mastermind)& Yukee(the superman)

also with such photogenic models.hehe.

House of horror with the family.

Unfortunately, theres always a Tragedy to everything and this time it was HUGE.
Dearest sunny had a disastrous day with cars,

Jeremy, Gunawan and I got lost,
and thats more than enough ruins for a day.

BUT

Because of such success, we decided to continue this photoshoot with a horror drama series!

stay tuned..

Everyone, without a doubt had the BEST TIME.

Tiring but sumptuous!
The best time, so far, in college and im glad i got to share it with my lovely friends.

DEFINATELY A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

All thanks to the superb cast.

Man with the Wind

Theo Jansen,

Dutch artist with a background of science.

He has been evolving a series of wind powered animals

made of plastic tubes(beach animals)

for the past 15 years.

Theo Jansen received the Jury's Special Price in the Interactive Art category at

Ars Electronica Festival 2005.

A science teacher inspired him to take science in college.

In 1979,

Theo Jansen created a UFO,

a flying saucer.

The first beach animal he created didnt have strong joints. One night he had a vision about principle of its feet. He then based on simple PCV tubes and built a computer model. After several months, he found the right proportion between the lengths of the tubes.

The philosophical ideas have grown more complete with the years.

Thoe Jansen didnt try to immitate animals. He just wanted to create something new.

A computer addict he was but figures out to invent something with the wind.

He says,

"When the weather is beautiful,

I thought it will be a waste of time to sit infront of the computer"

He likes the rain and storm alot.

Maybe people miss being close to nature. That is probably why they recognize his fun and want to be a part of it. He can be fascinated with very little things. The clouds stimulate his imagination and sometimes, just sit somewhere and go on dreaming for a long time. Your head is also a computer. When you're dreaming you are simulating a world in which you are living. During the night, it's a dream you can't control and during the day it's more like a second life in your head. It's all interpretations of the real world.

There Lay,Millions of Innocents.Victims Of the Weird Moustached Man.

Adolf Hitler. (20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945). An Austrian-born German.A decorated veteran of World War I.Cause of the outbreak of World War II in Europe.
Yes,he was definitely a man to remember for his diabolical actions.

What i`m here to talk about is `the holocaust` the extermination of nearly 20million jews based on one of the foundations of Hitler's social policies which was the concept of racial hygiene. With his amazingly influencing speeches,he managed to convince the people that the Jews were the cause of the the existing poverty amongst the people and that they were monopolizing the businesses.Hence, the holocaust.
Other than those gassed to death, many died as a result of starvation and disease while working as slave labourers. One of the biggest centres of mass-killing was the industrial extermination camp complex of Auschwitz-Birkenau.Though, Hitler never visited these concentration camps and did not speak publicly about the killing in precise terms.

Of course the story on this matter would take ages to explain so i have decided to elaborate on the usage of `hydrogen cyanide` used in the gas chambers of the extermination camps.

Why did he do it...WAS HITLER EMO?

Hydrogen cyanide.
is a chemical compound with chemical formula HCN. Hydrogen cyanide is a colorless, extremely poisonous liquid that boils slightly above room temperature at 26 °C (78.8 °F). Hydrogen cyanide is a linear molecule, with a triple bond between carbon and nitrogen. A minor tautomer of HCN is HNC, hydrogen isocyanide.
Hydrogen cyanide is weakly acidic with a pKa of 9.2. It partly ionizes in water solution to give the cyanide anion, CN–. A solution of hydrogen cyanide in water is called hydrocyanic acid. The salts of hydrogen cyanide are known as cyanides. It is produced during the execution by the action of sulfuric acid on an egg-sized mass of potassium cyanide.Hydrogen cyanide is commonly listed amongst chemical warfare agents that cause general poisoning and skin blisters. Zyklon B was originally developed during the 1920s as an insecticide by Dr. Walter Heerdt. Zyklon B was used by Nazi Germany to poison prisoners in the gas chambers of their network of extermination camps throughout Europe. Zyklon B was used at Auschwitz Birkenau, Majdanek, Sachsenhausen and one of the Operation Reinhard camps. At the other extermination camps, Carbon monoxide from engine exhaust was used in the gas chambers or mobile gas vans. Most of the victims were Jews and the Zyklon B gas became a central symbol of the Holocaust.

The faces of the many victims on the image of Adolf Hitler.
well,we have the soviets to thank for the end of his tyranny.....and Brad Pitt.

THE END PRODUCT!

We learn from history to avoid it from being repeated, unfortunately, power and riches still blind the hearts of men.Engaging in war when peace can be acchieved.
END.

Mr.Jansen the Kinetic Sculptor.

Theo Jansen.Born March 14, 1948, in The Hague, Netherlands.
When you see this mans extraordinary Strandbeests, the first thing that actually comes to mind is `what in the world is that?and how does he do it?`
Well, for this Clint Eastwood looking kinetic sculptor,it is just a simple everyday task. One look at Theo Jansens work and you would definitely have a rather peculiar feeling that these sculptures have been taken out of a wild dream or WONDERLAND.
To make artificial creatures which move with the help of nature is truly amazing. This defines the term `thinking beyond` because this is exactly what Theo Jansen has done.
He is an engineer, therefore he has a detailed understanding towards the effect on wind velocity and the calculation different pressure levels present as the wind moves through his strandbeests. His fascination towards the further developtment of the species of the strandbeests has been in his interest since the 90`s.

"When the weather was beautiful I thought it was a waste of time to sit in front of the computer" - Theo Jansen.(have to agree with him, unfortunately,i just go out to play basketball not make giant nature moving sculptures)

Of course many people have now started making their own kinetic sculptures through tutorials and such.Perhaps this is the vision of Theo Jansen,to plant the seeds of interest in the community so that the Strandbeests will spread throughout the world.

WHAT IF THEO JANSEN RULES THE WORLD WITH DESTRUCTIVE STRANDBEESTS??.....nahh.
"The walls between art and engineering exist only in our minds."-theo jansen
yes..yes it does.wait..technically,it really does.our brain is seperated into two parts.the art part and the mathematical part. The point here being, there is a wall in between these two entities but if you overcome it,endless possibilities await.

Theo was a man of Science. His development of interest in this subject flourished during his high school years but he found it rather queer when he was pursuing science in University. He disliked the exams that came one after the other and the office work he had to do so he bagan to paint until 1979.He then created a UFO which required knowledge on science to calculate the forces and an artistic mind.
Theo Jansen has been working on kinetic sculptures for more than 15 years now and each year his progress on making the perfect Strandbeest gets better everytime even though his sculptures sometimes faced major joint defects.
There is a valuable lesson here and that is the mind of man is never limited to the capabilities that you believe you are capable of doing and this man here Theo Jansen has proven just that.

Theo Jansen

Theo Jansen is one of the amazing engineers that i have ever seen . Actually it's for my opinion because of this movie, because this movie tells us the way that how Theo Jansen works, especially he has been working for many years just to reach to the thing that he wants, and this is an evidence that shows how much he loves the life and believes in it.

He used to work by himself and not to depend on anyone because of the high confidence that he has, and he worked for many years in order just to show the peopl how creative he is and how he wants to give us this picture of his life.

Dutch artist Theo Jansen has been working for 16 years to create sculptures that move on their own in eerily lifelike ways. Each generation of his "Strandbeests" is subject to the forces of evolution, with successful forms moving forward into new designs.
